Education at Active School

Education at Active School

a strong foundation, languages, Cambridge and child development

Our programme follows the Polish national curriculum, but we enrich it with our own teaching solutions that help children learn in a calmer, more engaging and more practical way. We focus on knowledge, languages, relationships and building everyday confidence.

📚

Strong curriculum foundation

We follow the required national curriculum, but we do not limit ourselves to the minimum. We combine school requirements with our own thoughtful approach to teaching.

🌍

Languages from an early age

From class “0”, students have 8 hours of English and 3 hours of Spanish per week. From class II, interested students can also attend two hours of German classes per week. Sign language is also available as an optional activity.

🎓

Cambridge system

From class “0”, part of the English language programme is taught using the Cambridge system. We prepare students for internal and external examinations and give them the opportunity to take them.

🧮

Exam preparation

In class VIII, we increase the number of Polish and mathematics lessons so that each student can prepare for the eighth-grade exam at their own pace and without unnecessary stress.

🗣️

Bilingual learning

In classes I–III, children work with an early education teacher and a native speaker. This helps English become a natural part of everyday learning.

🎭

Extra activities

We organise archaeology workshops, concerts, theatre performances, entrepreneurship classes, world studies and activities that develop curiosity.

🏃

Sport and movement

We value movement, outdoor activities, team games, swimming, ice skating and activities that help children discover their strengths.

Developing passions

Every year, we carefully choose extra activities. We ask students about their interests and needs, giving them space to develop passions and open up to new experiences.

💡

We teach so that children understand, not just remember

We encourage students to ask questions, look for answers independently and work in groups. Knowledge should be useful, understandable and connected with real experience.

Active School teaching methods
🔎

Project method

Students learn to ask questions, look for solutions and cooperate on real tasks.

🧪

Learning by doing

Children touch, check, discover and test — this helps them understand faster and remember more.

🎤

Presentations and teamwork

From the earliest years, students get used to public speaking, cooperation and communication.

⚖️

Movement and concentration

We use solutions that support correct posture, concentration and children’s natural need for movement.

Active School is a place where children learn, act and discover the world.
